What is KingFy OffChat?

KingFy OffChat is KingFy LLC’s offline messaging layer on Android. It is not a separate company and not WhatsApp in airplane mode. Messages travel phone-to-phone over radio — in the dedicated OffChat app and inside the KingFy Super App. A mesh starts only when a third nearby phone running OffChat by KingFy can forward the text.

How it works

  1. Install KingFy or the OffChat by KingFy app on Android and turn OffChat on, with Bluetooth (and Wi-Fi Direct if the device supports it).
  2. Keep the other phone nearby, with OffChat by KingFy also on.
  3. Discover nearby devices on the local mesh.
  4. Send the message peer-to-peer. It does not go through a mobile carrier.

Bluetooth vs Wi-Fi Direct vs mesh

Bluetooth covers a short, simple link. Wi-Fi Direct uses the phone’s Wi-Fi radio without a router and usually reaches farther than classic Bluetooth when both devices support it.

Mesh messaging is application-level: phone B can forward a text from A to C. An empty street is an empty mesh. This is not nationwide coverage and it is not a substitute for emergency numbers.

What OffChat is not

It does not send a message to another city without a carrier. Both users need OffChat by KingFy installed. There is no browser mesh and no iPhone peer on this mesh.

It is not long-distance WhatsApp; it does not run mesh in the browser/iPhone; it is not a third-party OffChat. A dedicated Play listing and the KingFy module can both exist — both KingFy LLC.

KingFy OffChat is not affiliated with unrelated third-party apps, websites or companies that also use the name “OffChat” — including other store listings, iOS products and offchat.app. The product is identified by the KingFy brand, KingFy LLC and the official kingfy.app domain.

History

Does OffChat work without cellular service?
Yes for nearby phones. The text uses Bluetooth or Wi-Fi Direct. You still need proximity and OffChat by KingFy on both devices.
Do both users need KingFy installed?
Each side needs OffChat by KingFy on Android — via the dedicated app or the module inside the KingFy Super App. It does not deliver to SMS or other messengers.
Does it work on iPhone or in a browser?
No. This mesh is Android. In the browser you can create an account and use other modules; OffChat does not replicate Bluetooth or Wi-Fi Direct on the web.
Is it available in the United States?
The Android apps are listed on Google Play worldwide. OffChat is a device-to-device radio feature — it does not depend on a US carrier.
Is there proof that OffChat actually works?
